Superhero STEAM

I started a Superhero STEAM Unit this week with 2-3rd grade. Their first task was to create a photo of themselves as a flying superhero across a cityscape (or other preferred background). They used an iPad App, Green Screen by Do Ink. Students were paired together and one partner took a photo of another while laying on a large piece of green butcher paper. They learned about layers in photo editing, using the camera app, how green screens use chroma filters, and learned how to save and crop photos to the iPad from the internet. The results were also really fun!
