Elf Visit: Parachute

The Elf came to visit us again! This time it was on a zipline running across the lab! This is one mischevious elf we have! The elf had a message on it's belly. The message stated that Santa's sled broke down and kindergarten needed to help construct a parachute that would help Santa deliver presents and land safely. Students used coffee filters, cups, string, tape, and wooden blocks that decorated as presents (for weight), and a paper photo of Santa, to construct the perfect parachute. Students placed their parachutes into the wind tunnel to see if they could get their parachute to float!
