Elf Visit: Snowball Launcher

Today Elf was coloring a photo of itself! How strange! It left kindergarten a message. It wanted them to build a snowball launcher to use during an elf snowball fight! Who knew elves had snowball fights? We watched a video of tools and contraptions that were used during Medieval Times to get some inspiration. Next, kindergarten used paper towel rolls cut into smaller sections, a plastic spoon, some rubberbands, and cotton balls to build our contraptions and practice launching our "snowballs". Kindergarten thinks the elf will be very impressed with their designs! Some of the kindergarten students even wanted to use a meter stick to measure how far they could launch their snowball!
