Marshmallow Tower Challenge

One of our admin suggested we try the marshmallow challenge with staff members in a meeting about collaboration and communication. I was too excited to wait for this as a staff, so I did it with all students in 1st-5th grades. Check out the challenge here then go watch the Ted Talks about it. It was a perfect STEAM challenge to kick off the school year! Our top team made a tower stand at 19"! Our top teacher group just took the lead with a tower that stood 21.5"!
