Hex Mazes

Fourth grade students have been busy designing and building mazes for vibrating bug toys. They worked this week to finish their designs. Some were ready to work on improving the route to successfully guide their bug from start to finish. This included adding bumpers, adjusting angles, and building ramps. The math of angles, logic of designing a maze, and creativity they are using is wonderful. I love how excited students are to try new materials in their mazes and learn how to use new tools.
