4th Grade Design Projects

Students in fourth grade have been working for the past few weeks to learn the human-centered design process. Students realized the importance of empathizing in the design process, by interviewing teachers to see how they could make their day go more smoothly. From here, students prototyped design solutions to fulfill the teachers' needs. A few examples of solutions include 3D printed waterproof signs for the garden, desktop organizers, and a self-watering system for a plant. Now, students are working to share these prototypes with the teacher they designed for, to get feedback before they finalize their creations.
