Toy Hacking for Accessibility

Fifth grade students started hacking toys so they would have a switch that allowed them to be more accessible for kids with disabilities. Students learned and practiced how to strip wires, reconnect wires, and design and build switches from recycled materials. For detailed instructions, see my blog post on FabLearn. Students will continue working on these after break by sewing stuffed animals back together with the new switch!
