Kindergarten Forces and Motion

Kindergarten has been learning about forces and motion! We started with an iPad photo scavenger hunt of different types of pushing and pulling that can occur in the classroom. Next, we played a class guessing game using the photos students took the class before. We also learned about friction by pushing a car down a cardboard ramp and testing out how various surfaces affect the speed and distance the car travels. Some materials we tested included foil, felt, plastic, and crinkled paper.
